Please make sure you thoroughly read through all the information below before proceeding.
‘Your organisation’ - means you, the commissioning authority paying for our services.
‘Pet(s)’ - means the animal(s) that are going to be staying at our facilities.
The pet(s) listed below are to be boarded at Mink Farm at the request of your organisation due to their owner being temporarily or permanently unable to care for them.
Your organisation agrees to be fully responsible for all boarding fees including but not limited to, daily boarding charges and any reasonable, and agreed to, additional costs.
This payment obligation shall continue and your organisation will remain as the commissioning authority and shall not withdraw financial responsibility under any circumstance regardless of:
The owners inability or lack of legal capacity to make decisions regarding the pet(s)
The death of the owner
Delay in determining the pet(s) long-term placement or rehoming
In circumstances where the owner is unable to resume care of the pet(s) or where it is determined that return is not in the pet(s) best interests, your organisation will retain responsibility for boarding costs until rehoming is complete. When such circumstances occur, Mink Farm Ltd will always try and act as swiftly as possible to avoid incurring surplus charges.
Payment will remain due until the pet(s) are collected by an authorised person(s) or they are rehomed. Unless explicitly stated in writing by both parties, financial responsibility for boarding fees shall not transfer to Mink Farm Ltd.
